Rogue Yellow Snow IPA

Took the day off to head over to the coast with Tracie and the fam. First stop was the Rogue brewery, conveniently located near the Aquarium in Newport.

The chowder was great, and the beer is good too. Started with a dry hopped red, which was tasty. Couldn't resist also trying the Yellow Snow IPA. Good floral hop nose, solid bitterness, and light malt. Tasty. Seems like beer always tastes better at the brewery...

  1. Tomorrow is our "pub crawl" in Sacramento. And by pub crawl I mean brewery crawl. The home brew club charted a bus to take us down and back, and we've made arrangements to visit five breweries for tasting and tours. And you're right, it always tastes better at he brewery.

  2. Nice! How was it? What breweries did you go to? We kegged up our two batches of stout on Saturday, I'll be posting a review of them soonish.
