This is a really nice sour Belgian brown.
Appearance is clear and medium brown with little head.
Solid sour notes in the nose, with some spice -- perhaps nutmeg -- notable as well. Pleasant.
Flavor is distinctly sour with moderate maltiness and subtle hops. Very nice.
Finish is crisp with moderate bitterness and a hint of astringency.
Overall a very tasty beer from one of Portland's promising newer breweries.
